    Dear Microfinance Advocates:

You may be interested to know that Grameen America, a U.S.-based microfinance institution under the Grameen umbrella, has made it to the final round of the Ideas for Change in America competition. Grameen has until March 12th to rally as many votes as possible to make it to the final 10 Ideas. The final 10 ideas will be presented to relevant members of the Obama Administration, and will also help microfinance gain the attention of the very large Change.Org community.

If you can take a moment to vote and encourage others to vote, with your help, microfinance can be brought to the attention of the Obama administration and we can continue to help alleviate poverty in the U.S.

Grameen America’s Executive Vice President, Leslie Kane, is a featured speaker at this conference. We hope you can join to hear her and other wonderful people speak about the state of domestic microfinance.
